The Woman Drunken with the blood of the Saints

Revelation 17:6 ...'And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.'

AND

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

This is not an easy post. But it is the Truth, and it's our History and it needs to be said!

So this church, the whore of Babylon is drunk with the BLOOD of the SAINTS, and the PROPHETS and the MARTYRS of JESUS! Now notice that it doesn't say she just has the blood of saints on her hands. It says that she is DRUNK with the blood of God's people. So this church is guilty of not just killing a few Christians. She is guilty of killing TONS of God's people. Did you know that the Roman Catholic Church has caused TENS OF MILLIONS of Christians to be persecuted and brutally murdered throughout the dark ages? We know the stories of the Inquisitions and the Crusades. And why, because they wouldn't bow to the Pope! In you need more info on this, read Foxe's Book of Martyrs by John Foxe. Warning, it's not for the faint of heart.

If you didn't know, back in the year 2000 on March 12th, Pope John Paul II spoke from the altar of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, and asked for forgiveness for the Roman Catholic Church's past sins. Calling it the "Day of Pardon". They also called for a Jubilee year. There is much to say about that Altar, but I'll share that another day. The Rome Catholic Church knows their sins are grievous! However they need to bring about this world Unity, so they must go through the motions of this 'forgiveness'. Again, Pope Francis came out on January 25th, 2016 and asked for mercy and forgiveness for the behavior of the Catholic Church's past towards the Christians. And asked them to come together as brothers and sisters.

So my point being here, is no one in History has killed as many believers in Jesus then the Roman Catholic Church has. And we have proof of that in historical writings. So yes, The Roman Catholic Church also meets this identifying mark as well!

Be a Berean!
