When was The Messiah Born? (Post 1)

When was Jesus 'The Messiah' Born? Was it really on December 25th?

What does the Bible say...
We know that Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem to register in a Roman census (Luke 2:1-4). We also know that shepherds were in the fields watching their flocks (Luke 2:7-8). And many are aware that December is the peak of the rainy season in Israel with temperatures at night in the low 40's.

Now with that said, this is the most important thing you need to know I believe...
According to (Luke 1:24-26), Mary conceived Jesus in the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy with John the Baptist. This means that Jesus was born 15 months after the angel Gabriel appeared to Elizabeth’s husband, Zacharias, and informed him that his wife would bear a child.

According to (Luke 1:5), Zacharias was a priest of the division of Abijah. Luke 1:8 says that Gabriel appeared to Zacharias while he was serving as a priest in the Temple.

We know from the Jewish sources that the division of Abijah served as priests during the second half of the fourth month of the Jewish religious calendar — which would have put it in late June (the Jewish religious calendar begins in March with Passover).

Fifteen months later would place the birth of Jesus in the seventh month of the Jewish calendar. That would be in the fall of the year, in September. His 'Conception', not His birth, would have occurred in December of the previous year.

The seventh month of the Jewish calendar is the month of the 'Feast of Tabernacles'. John 1:14, speaking of Jesus as the Word, it says: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.” The word “dwelt” that is used here is the Greek word “skenoo” which literally means “to tabernacle”!!!

So, when The Son of God came to earth to tabernacle among Men it appears that He timed His arrival in the Bethlehem manger to coincide with the Feast of Tabernacles. That was only appropriate, for the Feast of Tabernacles is the most joyous of all the Jewish feasts. It is, in fact, their feast of Thanksgiving. The total meaning of that feast will not be fulfilled until Jesus returns again!

Our Father gave us a way to calculate Jesus' birth, and it clearly is not on December 25th. Most don't want to hear it, but Christmas is unbiblical and very deceptive. Not only did Roman use this lie to merge the pagans (who celebrated Saturnalia) with the Christians, this deception goes so much deeper. Many wonderful Christians don't fully understand this and are just following the traditions of men innocently.

My hope is you will continue to read these post daily, there is so much to share with you. May The Father place a desire in your heart to seek out the truth on this matter. I do understand it's hard to hear, to be honest I didn't want to accept this as well, since I enjoyed Christmas so much. But I desired the truth more and I love The Father with all my heart. I praise Him for revealing His truth. I Hope this blesses you.

Much love!

Also on September 11th, 3 BC the Revelation 12 sign was in the sky on the 'Feast of Tabernacles'. Remember that the Father will use the stars and planets (wandering stars) for 'signs' in the sky....

Genesis 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for SIGNS and for seasons, and for days, and years.

Just an FYI, I am working on a post to share about the September 23rd sign as well as the December 21st one. Our Father is revealing so much. He is so gracious to us.
